The bathroom was notably small, yet the bed was surprisingly comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially how the room was super comfy and I loved the cozy sun terrace for some relaxation. It was peaceful to unwind in the garden area with a good book. Just a heads up, the shower could use a little fixing, but it didn't spoil the vibe! 🌞

Comfortable stay with friendly service
I had a lovely one-night stay in a Standard Double Room. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the location couldn't be better—right in the heart of Hay-On-Wye. Sheila, the owner, was very welcoming and provided solid dining recommendations. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, just what I needed to start the day. the bathroom was a bit small and could be refreshed.

The breakfast was freshly cooked and downright scrummy. Sheila, the landlady, had all the insider tips on nearby eateries. The comfy bed offered sweet dreams for the night, making the stay a cozy experience.
Unfortunately, the car park looked like a builders yard with a skip and debris everywhere. The reception area was messy, and the room needed serious TLC with dusty old furniture and missing bathroom tiles.

Perfect spot for a solo getaway!
Had a lovely 2-night stay in a standard double room. Super quiet and right in the heart of everything. The shower was awesome! Had a lunch at the bar area but the service was kind of slow. Wouldn't recommend the food after that experience. All in all, a pretty chill place to hang out.

Super comfy and great vibes!
We had a last-minute stay and it turned out pretty nice. The bed was super comfy, and Sheila, the landlady, was such a gem! Breakfast was freshly made, but the menu in the pub has changed, and honestly, those chips were not great. Still, the staff were really friendly.
